Relocating the Kasian Design Office was spearheaded by breaking down the new floorplan into four zones: focus, collaborative, community & support.
‘How we work is changing’ with 75% of the team supporting hybrid work schedules movement & choice were important aspects of space planning. Assigned workspaces were designed for those who are resident workers and primarily in the office; shared desking equipped with bookable technology and collaborative spaces provide touch down work zones for those mobile workers.
Careful planning of shared spaces incorporating variety of furniture settings supports collaborative work, in person meetings, as well as social events, increasing the bringing together of people in the studio.
