RGO started as a private, family–owned Calgary company incorporated in 1966 with roots selling typewriters. Over the years, RGO has grown, changed, diversified, and re-invented its business a few times to stay relevant and provide the very best products and services to our clients. Today, RGO has evolved to the largest provider in Western Canada of commercial Furniture, Window Coverings, Flooring, Technology, Architectural Solutions, Move and Storage Management.

With headquarters in Calgary, Edmonton and Canmore, RGO is proud to offer sales, service and installations solutions to customers in the surrounding area. Across the province, our showroom/warehouse facilities are over 200,000 sq ft. and we have over 200 experienced team members ready to serve our customers.

Ross Glen | Our Founder & Chairman

RGO Products began operating in 1966 with three people and has since grown to a staff of over 175 employees in Calgary, Edmonton and Canmore. From the beginning, Founder Ross Glen knew building a diverse dealership would be key to success. Today, RGO is the largest dealership of its kind in Canada. From inception, RGO has strived to be a “one stop shop” serving Albertans; selling and servicing all products with a full complement of value-added services.

In 2016, Ross was inducted into the Calgary Business Hall of Fame. Mr. Glen has a strong commitment to the City, Province and Country that he proudly calls home. “Calgary has always been our town. I’m a local guy, we started RGO 50 years ago and we’ve done a lot of good things for the city. But we’ve always been interested in supporting health and education and theatre, those are our big focuses We do our share to make things better for people and I think that’s important.”

Ross was appointed in 2020 to the Order of Canada, signifying Canada recognizing and honoring his extraordinary contributions to the nation. Evaluation criteria for this prestigious honor consisted of achievement, dedication to community, and service to the Nation, under the recognition category of philanthropy and entrepreneurship.

RGO Edmonton

RGO Edmonton was established in 1996 as we expanded our offerings to all of Alberta. We started with furnishing and architectural products, have since added window coverings and technologies in 2024.

RGO Flooring | Canmore

RGO Canmore was established in 2014 as we expanded our flooring offerings. RGO Flooring proudly partners with the leading brands in the flooring industry.

Cathy Orr | Our President & CEO

Cathy Orr joined RGO Products Ltd. in 1983, in the Window Coverings division. At the time, Window Coverings was a small division with only 2 salespeople. Calgary won the bid for the 1988 Olympics and RGO Window Coverings won the contract for the Olympic skating oval. That put RGO Window Coverings on the map.

In 1994, Cathy was promoted to Manager of the department – and then promoted to Vice President of Window Coverings and Corporate Initiatives in 2008. RGO Window Coverings has grown into the largest window covering dealer of its kind in Canada – offering both state of the art commercial and residential window coverings.

In 2016, Cathy was appointed President and CEO at RGO.

Cathy serves on the Board of Governors for Calgary Petroleum Club and is a member the Finance Committee.
She is a member of BOMA, the Calgary Construction Association, International Women’s Forum, Calgary Chapter and the Business Council of Alberta.
